MISSION STATEMENT
Resurrection Academy, a ministry of St. John XXIII Catholic Community, is a diverse preschool to eighth-grade population providing a rigorous Catholic academic education, immersed in technology with a focus on 21st-century skills where students communicate, collaborate, create, and think critically. Serving Fontana and neighboring locales for over sixty years, we are a community that provides for worship and is caring, respectful, compassionate, and life-giving.

At Resurrection Academy, our committed staff is dedicated to fostering a nurturing and informed environment where students embark on a rewarding academic journey. Serving students from Preschool through Eighth Grade, our school is distinguished by its commitment to Christian values and fostering a close-knit community. We prioritize service to others and celebrate each student's unique gifts and talents. Our educational approach not only emphasizes academic excellence but also integrates faith-based service and leadership development, ensuring students are equipped for success in academics and beyond.
AT A GLANCE
FAITH FORMATION
Students receive the Sacrament of Reconciliation and First Holy Communion.
Religion curriculum is learned in every classroom.
Penance Service is planned 3x per school year.
MASS
Students celebrate Mass every Friday and on days of obligation. Mass is led by students from K-8.
SERVICE
Eighth grade students complete a minimum of 25 hours of community service. All students participate in service opportunities throughout the school year.
MINISTRIES
Students who have completed their First Communion are eligible to serve as an Altar Server.
Students from grades 3-8 can share their gifts of music and sing in the school choir.
TECHNOLOGY
Technology 1:1 in grades K-8.
